Eye Examination
Eye tests do more than simply check how well you can see – they are an important part of maintaining your overall eye health.
During your examination, your vision will be assessed, and our optometrists will check for conditions such as cataracts, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration. Early signs of wider health conditions, including Diabetes and high blood pressure may also be seen. Detecting these issues early allows for more effective management and treatment.
We invest in the latest technology to provide the highest standard of care, including hospital grade scans. This is imaging technology which gives a highly detailed view of the back of the eye allowing us to detect sight threatening conditions earlier than can be seen in a standard eye examination.
Children’s eye care is just as important as adult eye care. NHS funded eye exams are available for all children. It’s important to note that a full eye examination is not the same as a school vision screening, as it provides a much more detailed assessment of eye health and vision.
